I LOVE ROCKER GIRL! We had a great final concert in Victoria and then I drove 15 hours and began the Calgary camp with another wonderful crew. Once again the week was amazing and the songs that came out for the final concert were such a treat. Joby and Dustin flew in for the friday and as soon as the last song was sung at RGC 2007 we busted out of Calgary in order to make our show at South Country Fair. After that it was an immediate drive to northern Saskatchewan for Ness Creek Festival. Wow. It was a whirlwind. Now I am somehow back in Edmonton at the last Rocker Girl Camp week camp. Thanks to my van for carrying us all of the miles in the extreme heat without any breakdowns.

Had a KILLER weekend at the Vancouver Island Music Festival. It was hot and dry but we rocked and rocked hard. I was blessed to be joined by Joby Baker on drums and Ian McElroy on bass. I was also blessed to share the stage with such greats as Guy Clark, Dougie Maclean, Elan, Leroy Bell, Art Napolean, and Paul Ubana Jones. These workshops blew my mind. CBC recorded the concert set and everyone in Canada can listen to it on the airwaves soon!
Now I am into full on Rocker Girl Camp mode. It is hot and full on and today I almost passed out but the girls are amazing and that's what makes my rocker world go round.
